Shale hill

There are rich amounts of shale in the region of my silver course and the in the past this was mined. This produced lots of waste that built up a rather large pile on which someone now has initiated an art exhibition. Sometimes there is a foul smell coming from inside of this hill and there are plenty of signs warning you of hot areas.

So this piece of stone is supposed to let through light. I'm sort of blocking it, but it didn't work too well.

Apparently lots of people living in the neighbouring area was real upset about the sign reading JOHANSSON.

This is amongst the ugliest and most unimaginative pieces of art that I have ever seen. It was called something in the lines of "Those who love the morning sun" but it looks more like an overly decorated lingam :S

  1. You look great, and cool sunglasses those!

If they were so pissed, couldn't they just pull the NAME down? Or is it some protected site?

And a lingam is never 2-D (This one seems like it is); good observation though. Where did you see a Lingam, Cambodia?

  2. My sis' old glasses :)

Not sure if you can just remove "art" like that.

It's 3 dimensional indeed. Maybe it's just a sign of its ugliness that one can't even tell in the pic. Cambodia yes, but Nam too. Where we didn't go (My son sanctuary) on the very last of days :(
